The story of SAUBA begins over 30 years ago when Tom's order-loving grandmother thought there must be something with which one could quickly and easily, practically in the blink of an eye, clean the sockets of dust and dirt.

No sooner said than done – Tom creates a first sketch. In 2013, he unearths the drawing again, and together with Irina, they set about turning the idea into a product: the first prototype of a socket brush is born.

It also marks the birth of SAUBA. Everything that was important in the development of the first plug-in brush remains so today: combining function with quality, design, and sustainability. This also shapes our principles as a company.

Since these first steps, numerous other products have been added, such as the smartphone brush, the pet bowl brush, the portafilter brush, the bristle-free toilet brush, the socket hook, and many more, which no longer fit in the home basement.

From then until now, not only have many beautiful new brushes been added, but also some great companions. What started as a two-person team of inventors has now become an ever-growing, colorful group of talented jugglers of ideas, numbers, timing, and, above all, products.
